UNFAIR TRADING.
to Tina editor. Sir,—Observing two letters appearing in your paper this morning commenting on mine of the 21st, I take the liberty of again troubling you for the purpose of telling " Common Honesty" that as I deemed it necessary that it should be ' exposed, I only acceded to the requirement of the press to ensure its publication, and leave it to him and the police to take the matter up, as he owns by his letter that " many shopkeepers resort to the practice of ticketing some of their goods at; very low prices." In reply to "A Trader of 22 years in George street," my answer is embodied in ray reply to "Common Honesty." It is in his hands also, and as I am free and independent in this matter I am willing to divulge the perpetrator of the fraud (as I term it) before the proper persons, hut not through a newspaper at present. As farmers, bankers, and merchants might all speak on this subject, I hope that my spark of •warning will waft itself into a fire of honesty.— I am, &<5., A Disgusted Faiuieb. January 24.
