A SUGGESTION.

TO THE EDITOR. Sih, —In your issue of this morning I notice that a subscription list has been opened in aid of the widow aud family of Miller, who so courageously risked his life and lost it in the endeavour to save a fellow creature at the late fire. Might I suggest that lists bo placed in various shops through the city, where many who could only afford to give a small sum would be enabled in passing to testify, even in a sma\l way, their appreciation of the heroism and bravery displayed by Miller and sympathy with his widow and children in their sad affliction.— I am, &c. t VoLENS. Dunedin, January 26.

—Religious fervor has been greatly increased in the wefct of Ireland by the alleged complete cure of a woman woman who had been a cripple for 10 years, by a miracle performed at the &krine|of Knock.
