TO THE EDITOB. Sir, —Last night I had a splendid view of the comet at 10.15. It stood quite clear of the horizon, and the position by compass, S.S.W. If a clear view cannot be had from Dunedin proper, I would suggest the Mornineton Tramway Company hunt up the man with the telescope who used to be stationed at the Octagon, give him a small subsidy to place his telescope on the Town Belt and near the tramway, where a good view could bo obtained.—l am, &c, G.
