The weather was grand, and the racing .was an. improvement on the previous day. The only sensational dividend was in the Trot, when a rank outsider, won by Ja quarter of a mile. | Molly Bawn won the Flying Handicap, but a protest was lodged for running inside a post. After one hour's discussion, the stewards decided in favour of Molly. For the Hack Selling, Jack Spratt and Mayflower ran a dead heat. It was after 7 o'clock before it was decided. Only £800 was put through totalisator. Maligner and Tetford have been scratched for all engagements at the Wellington R.C. Summer meeting.
