MEETINGS OF CREDITORS.
, . Re J. Wilson. A meeting of creditors in the estate of Joseph Wilson, of.St. Kilda, hotelkeeper, was held at the official assignee's office yesterday afternoon. The bankrupt's statement showed his liabilities to be £266 2s Cif, and his assets £259 17s 8d; the estate showing a deficiency .of £6 4s lOd. The principal creditors are as follow: —J. Garden. Clinton, £107 19s; Bank of New Zealand, £32 17s 3d; H. Benjamin, £12; T. Steel, £12; C, Spence,l £10; F. Lange, Clinton, £12. The assets consist of an interest (valued at £214 Is sd) in section 1, Ashley Downs estate, Waiwera; farming implements, cash in hand, (£l2), furniture and wearing apparel (£2O). The Bankrupt 6aid he had no offer to make, and the meeting adjourned for a week, it haying been resolved that Mr Conradi investigate as to the position of the land in the estate in the interval, and afterwards that the bankrupt be recommended for his discharge. Re Moerison and Mitchbix. An adjourned meeting of creditors in the estate of 'Morrison and Mitchell, auctioneers, was held yesterday afternoon. Mr Catomore, who appeared on behalf of certain creditors, said that he had been authorised by them to ask the assignee to apply to the judge of the Supreme Court for an order that the bankrupts be publicly examined. The Assignee said he would apply to tha'court to have a day fixed for the examination of the bankrupts in open court. The meeting then adjourned sine die.
