PORT CHALMERS SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

The regular meeting of the Port Chalmers School Committee was held on Friday eveningPresent : Messrs V. G. Dowries (chairman), 0' do Longueville Graham, James M'Kay, Dr Drysdalu, and A. Thomson.

An application from Mr W. Leslie for the use of one of the schoolrooms for a drawing class was granted.—The Chairman stated that in accordance with the usual practice he had in conjunction with the rector granted the children a week's holiday on the termination of the cx 0 amlnations.
