The Outram Liceusiug Committee held their annual meeting in the Court-house, Outram, on Friday; Present: Messrs, Dpw (chairman)j W. Grant, P. Grant and T. A. White. The reports were ah1 favourable: and there being no complaints and no objections, all the applications for renewals were granted without comment as follow: —T. M. M'Kay Terminus Hotel, Outram; Johanna Harper, Outram Hotel; J. C. Johnston, West Taieri Bridge Hotel; A. A. Webb, Buckeye Hotel; J. Godwin, Outram, bottle license; James Olive, Strath Taieri, hotel license; Lovel Hindon, accommodation license (license fee fixed at £15); J. Clark, junction Strath-Taieri and Diulstan roads, accommodation licence (fee £15); J. Walsh, Deep btream, accommodation

license (fee fixed at £6 Gs). Letters were received from Walsh and Clark asking for a reduction of the license fee.—No reduction

granted.

MAUNGATUA.

The annual meeting of the Maungatua Licens-

ing Committee was held in the Court-house, Outram, on Saturday, and was attended by Messrs W. Snow (chairman), W. M'Pherson, and D. Carruthers. The following renewals were granted:—Thomas C. George, hotel at Berwick; William Wallace, Lee stream, accommodatiou license (license fee fixed at £5). A

transfer was granted from J. Paul to Peter Ferguson for Whare creek (accommodation license); Peter Ferguson for" renewal of accommodation license for Whare creek Hotel (fSii fixed at £5).
