SOIREE AT MOSGIEL.

A most enjoyable soiree, being the usual halfyearly one, was given in the Mosgiel Baptist Chapel on Tuesday evening. Mr Joseph Feltham occupied the chair. The different tables were tastefully decorated with vases of flowers, and were presided over by Mesdames Heath and Hicks, and the Misses Marshall (2), Callender, Strachan, Drunimond, Hunter, Murdoch, Whitelaw, Kae, Liddell, and Michie, who were most assiduous in their attention. Addresses were given by Messrs Hunter, M'Kenzie, Ings, Bamfield, Rutherford, and Todd, and the choir rendered some selections very creditably. It may be stated that the Church has established a Sunday School at Mullocky Gully, and it is attended by 2S children. .
