THE LONDON WHEAT MARKET.

The London correspondent of the Melbourne Argus reports, under date March 19:—" In the absence of freßh supplies of Australian wheat, this description has also slightly improved in price; but at the enhanced figures of 36s 9d to 37s per 4961b (ex store) millers only cover their immediate wants. InparceU c.f. and i. there appears to be no business doing to London, sellers' ideas being 365, which premium buyers are. unwilling to pay. In cargoes to arrive there is nothing passing, and we are without supply of this quality off coast. The reduced quantity of New Zealand on the spot keeps this description of colonial very firm, and prices are now 34s to 35s for long-berried, and 32s 6d to 34s 6d for short-berried (ex store)." :
