IS HEREBY~GIVEN, pursuant to SecI tion IJO of " The Counties Act 1376," that it is proposed to RAISE n SPECIAL LOAN for the purpose ot underrating the undermentioned Work in the Henley Drainage District; and in compliance with the said section, the Council notifies the Ibliowin matters:— 1. The particular work proposed to be undertnl-en is as follows :— («) A flood opening or outlet to be mutfu into the Taieri .River from tile drain to b<> known as A To. 1 Drain. (6) A ilootl opening or outlet to be made into the Taieri River from the drain known as bhand's." (c) A Hood opening or outlet to bo made into the Taieri River from the drain known as "Ken ton's." (d) New main drains to be made In said district and existing drains to be cleared, re-graded' ' and opened up. 2. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £3000. •'i. It is proposed, with the consent of the Katepayers of the said District, to be sought at a meeting hereafter to be called, to" levy a in the POUND (or a less sum if required) on the Rateable Property in the said District, and to pledge the same as security for the said .
