This woa particularly the case in ;tho HlUend, Wongtlon, and Loudon's Gully roadß, where there waa bullock . diay tiaffic. Most of the contracts had been stopped, owing to tho bad weather, and nothing could be done till spring timo. The revenue for the month was stated to be £108, and the expenditure £49 J, of which £160 was money obtained under the Riodl and Biidges Act.—The report was adopted. MATAU SRIDOE. Oa the motion of Cr Darlixo, it was resolved to apply for a special grant under the Roads and Bridges Act of £1330 to complete and open up tbe new road to Wangaloa.
