Thursday, Afbil tt.- ■ (Before Meßsrs E. H. Carew, R.M., and G. 13. Eliott, J.P.) ' Drunkenness.—Two offenders were convicted and fined. Disorderly Conduct. — Sydney Herbert Kuight was charged with having behaved in a disorderly manner while drunk in Walker street.—He was fined 6s, in default 24 hours' impriaoument. Light Weights. — John Langmuir was charged with having in bis possession a falsa set of scales. —Mr Wood appeared for the accused.—The charge was dismissed, as it appeared that the wrong person had been summoned. Thh Shanghai Noisanoe.—Robert Nixon and Alfred Mason were fined la each for carrying shanghais contrary to the municipal bye-laws. . • Street Awsings,—Maxwell,]?yfe was fined £>3, without coats, for having au awning erected over the footpath in front of bis shop in Princes street. ..,,
