Sib,—Your correspondent Fred Fulton has put into form the thought that has been in the minds ol myself and mauy others since tho news of General Gordon's death reached us, and especially since we learned that the offer of New South Wales bad been accepted by the imperial authorities. New Zealand has the men, the money can surely be found and why should we be tho last to offer ourBelves 1 Your reference to the Now South Welshmen will, I ttuat, bo taken up by Bomeone interested, and the writer tauuht that any Colonial force might safely be put in the front of the battle, and wherever placed would cortalnly give a good account of themselves.
