ST. CLAIR BATHS.
TO THE MOTOR. Sm,—ls Improbable that "X" would havo written Ills lottcr to yon il ho had boon provided with a bathingdro'B as olßcient for the purpose of deceDcy as used by tho women who bathe there? I think not. Isitnot strange that a poor working girl getting, Eay, from 63 to 1i 6d per wcok wages, must provide herself with bathing-dress, while mon getting, cay from £ 60 to £1500 per year, grudge the expense of ono. Does it not seem a littlo solfiuta, just a little. Seriously, Is it not H/ro that the onus of being decent should be thrown upon the bathers and not that popple should be driven away from the neighbourhood of tb.3 b»ths ? I submit f hat tho Cavershain Borough Council c-hould lasi a bye-hw to provont aiyone b.ithing unices tt-ey wear a proper bathing-dress. Wo should not hoar 'ao much abouJ the indecency o) people boking ,ou whilo otherd wero bathing if that wcro clone—l am, &<j , T. F. Dunedin, February 11.
