Drunkenness. — Bridget Kane, against whom there were 127 previous convictions for drunkenness, wa3 fined £3, in default 14 days' imprisonment. Another inebriate, who was unable to appear, waa remandod till Monday. 111-treating a House.—Henry Box was charged with ill-treating a horae at Pine Hill on the 14th inst. by working it when it was suffering from open sores. —Mr R. L. Stanford appeared for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and Mr Gallaway for tho defendant,—After the csbb bad been heard at some length, the Benoh said there was not evidence to prove that tho defendant had illtreated the horse on the date referred to in the information, or at auy other time. The casa would be diemisaed.—Anothor information, charging the defendant with failing to Bupply a horee with sufficient food, was also dismissed.
