London, July 25. (Ecceivod July 26, at 4.30 p m.) Tha cricket match at Brighton, Australians v. Sussex, waa resumed to-day before a large number of spectators. The weather was unsettled, heavy rain falling at intervals, and play being occasionally suspended. The first innings of the Home team closed for 395. The highest scorers were : Wyatt (bowled) 112 • Phillips (caught) : 111. • '

The fielding of the Home team was rather weak. The Home team then commenced their second innings, but had only scored 2d funs when play ceased. Blackman made 18, not out.
