Calverley," it is made to appear that judgment was given against me for a dishonoured note for £42 O3 6d. The facts are these : I gave an accommodation bill long ago to Mr Alves, jun., which bill was for £20, not £42 Os Cd as stated in your report. Ane fibov&.facts I made perfectly clear in my evidence given ia Court on the day jOn which the case was tried; and aS young Kir Alves cannot be fouad i judgment went against me1.
