MEETING OF CREDITORS.

A meeting of creditors of Ferdinand Gutzewitz was held in tho office of tho Official Assignee yesterday morning. Six creditors were present. Mr AsllOROFr stated that tho bankrupt bad incurred a number of dobts, amounting to £40, at Oxford (Cautoibury), beforo coming to Dunedin. Since ho had been hero ho had been in employ ment, earning £2 10s a week and his board, ami had got further into debt to tlie extent of about £20. The assets were practically nil, as tho bankrupt was entitled to his furniture, which he had valued at £10. Tho following resolutions wero unanimously adopted:—(l) ••That tho Assignee bo requested to apply to Mr Dornwell for back wagoa due to the bankrupt, at tho rato of 10i por week for six months"; (2) "That tho Asjignee attond the public oxainiuation of the bankrupt, and examine him on behalf of tho cr3dHots" ; and (3) "That application be made to the Judge to fix the amount the bankrupt should pay one of his future wages towards the liquidation of his debts."
