The object of this Company is to provide insurance for all classes against injury or death from accidental causes at a moderato rate of premium. The lucrative nature of this business in other countrie?, as well as in this, is too well known to the public '' to require statistics. It may, however, bo mentioned that the only office carrying on operations in New Zealand is paying dividends at the rate of 25jper cent, per annum, besidos increasing its reserve lund annually. Its chares, on which 29 each is paid up, aro worth now 6s to 7s, this being only the fourth year of the Company's existence. It is the intention of the promoters to spread the shares over tho whole of this Colony, in order to broaden tho basis of tho Company and extend its influence in all directions.
