In the House of Commons to-day Sir Wm. Harcourt, Home Secretary, stated, in reply to a question, that inquiries had been made by tbe police regarding the attack upon Lady Florence Dixie by two mon disguised an women, but that the investigations had failed to confirm Lady Dixie's narrative. A Fenian who arrived at Liverpool from Cork was detected in tho act of landing a box of oxplosiveß, and was arrested by the V° ICC" March 30th. (Received March 31st, at 1.6 a in.) Two persons have been arrested at Cork in I connection with the landing of a case of explosives at Livorpool by Fenian agents. The enthronement of Dr Benson as Frimate of all England took place at Canterbury Cathedral to-day. The ceremony was performed by the Archbishop of York, assisted by other prelates of the Established Church, and in the presence of an immense concourse of clergy and persons of note. Viona, March 20th. (Received March 30tli, at 8 30 p.m.) News is to hand from Budn-Pesth stating that Herr G. do Maglath, president of tho Hungarian Court of Cassation, has been strangled at his residence by burglars. (Received March 30th,at 11.45 a.m.) (Special to Pbkss Association.) London, March 29th. Sir Hercules Robinson leaves for Cape Town on April 24th. The Zulus are raiding Transvaal. Sir Pope Hennessy sails for Mauritius on May 10th. ■- Mr Johnsen, a member of the Boer Government, ha? been appointed Envoy for the Transvaal in London. It is stated that Spain will shortly release the Cuban refugees who wero surrendered from Gibraltar. March 30th. (Received March 30th, at 8 p.m.) The public absorbed tho greater portion of tho Victorian lo.in. The Right Rev. Edward White Benson, D.D., has been enthroned as Archbishop of Canterbury and Primate of all England. Dr Thornton (Bishop of Ballarat) and the following former bishops of Australia—Right Rev. • Edward Wyndham Tuffnell, D.U., Right Rev. Charles Henry Broinby, Right Rev. Charles Perry—assisted at the ceremony, which was a most impressive one.

(RcccU-e'd March 3ist, at 1.5 a.m.) Wheat is quiet at 5s 5d to 5s Cd, and no busiuess is doing. Town flour, per ton, £12 10s; country brands, £11 7s 6d. There is nothing doing in foreign cargoes. Brisbane, March 30th. (Rcceivei March 30th, at 8.20 p.m.) Mr Redmond, M.P. for New Ross, Ireland, who is now in this city, has addressed several well-attended meetings, his speeches being moderate iv tone.
