Nosworthy in 1874, and ib full brother to Malice, Lurline, Castaway, Naiad, and Lure, and half-brother to La Mode. Traducer (Le Loup's sire) was, until his death in 1880, known as the champion sire of New Zealand, having begotten some of the best performers we have ever had. Among hia offspring (apart from Le Loup's full brother and sisters) were:—Templeton (winner of the Dunedin Cup, Canterbury Cup, and innumerable other races), Betrayer (won Canterbury Cup and Wanganui Cup), Calumny, Natator (winner of C. J.C. Derby, tic), Sir Modred (winner of Dunedin and Timaru Cupß), Trump Card, Siesta, Virginia Water, Libeller, Chancellor, The Dauphin (winner of C.J.C.
