HIGH SCHOOL BOARD OF GOVERNORS.

The usual monthly meeting of this body was held yesterday. Present—The Rev. Dr Stuart (chairman), Professors Shand and Macgregor. The clerk was authorised to call tenders for the survey of tho agricultural block at StrathTaiori, with the view of having tho samo subdivided into farms and sold at auction. Mr E. W. Humphreys wrote regarding a wivter-raco, a portion of which it was contemplated to carry through tho Board's endowmont in tho Taieri county.—lt was decided to offer no objection to the work being proceeded with.

The Inspector of Works reported that work was progressing on the Wyndham Valley road.

Accounts amounting to £00-1 13s 4d were passed for payment.
