These Works, which are now in full operation, are connected by railway with Christchurch, and consist of large two-storeyed Brick Building, Heated throughout with itcam, for drying purposes, containing a 10-horss-pewer engine and boiler, large pan-mill, hydraulic press, and other neccsa-iry machinery for tho manufacture of Drain-pipes from 3in to 18in in diameter, and every description of Fireclay <;ood«. Also, two large Kilns for burning Drain-pipes, Bricks, and Terra-cotta Goods; large Brick-shed; and several Workmen's Cottages and Offices.
