PRINCESS THEATRE.
There was another large downstairs audience at the Princess Theatre last evening to witness the entertainment given by the Mace and Miller Combination. The performance passed off as satisfactorily as on Saturday evening, the profuse display of skill and strength witnessed exciting both wonder and admiration. The illustrations of Greek and Roman statuary by Mr Jem' Mace and Professor Miller were especially exhibitions of interest, and the latter's handling of the Indian clubs was remarkably good. The feat performed by the same gentleman of lifting a dumbell weighing 1801b straight above his head with one hand gave a very good idea .of the tremendous strength he possesses, and its accomplishment was marked by a hearty outburst of applause on the part of those present. The scientific display of boxing, Mr F. Edmunds' caricaturing, and the comic songs contributed by Mr« Nellie Mace and Mr Barry O'Neill were all very creditable, and met with due appreciation. " -
