A. Sorum v. R.- Cheyne.—Claim £5 2s, on a judgment summons.—The defendant did not appear, and an order was made for payment of the amount within 14 days, or in default seven days' imprisonment.
In the following.cases. judgment went for the plaintiffs, with costs : —Stavely, Austin, and. Co. v. —. M'Kenzie. claim £57 7s 7d, on a dishonoured cheque.; Stewart and Denniston v. W. Fowler, claim £1 Gs Bd, For professional services rendered; Jj, Wilson v. B. Barret, claim £2 12s Id, for work done; Haig, Bram, well, and Co. v. 11. Steel, claim £3 8s Id, for goods supplied; Geo. Friendv, H. Connelly, claim 15s 6d, for a pig bought; and A. M'Meikan v. S. Townley, claim £5, account due (judgment for 20s). M'Keoun v., M'Keoun. —- Application for maintenance. —Mr Macdonald appeared for the applicant, and Mr Stout for, the. defendant.— An order was made by consent for 7s 6d per week.. : "
