.Daily Times Office, Friday evening. Tho amount of Customs Revenue received today on goods entered for consumption was £2618159. A telegram received from Lyell states that the United Alpine Company's return for three days' crushing was 155055 of amalgam from 113 tons of stone. CHHISTCHURCH CORN EXCHANGE. Report for the week ending Friday evening, tho 17th iust :— The grain market during the week has been more active, and transactions have been more general. The great bulk of the grain has' been already carried. The weather continues extremely favourable for harvest operations. Wheat.—Samples of prime Tuscan have fetched as high aB 4s 4d per bushel; Hunter's white, pearl, ES3CX, and velvet ch'ft" range from 43 to 4s 3d per bushel, delivered at Christchufth railway-station. Samples of second quality and chick wheat are not yet ottered. Oats.—Thero is no change to roport in the state of the market during the past week. Few, if any, samples are offered—partly from the fact that' tho threshing-machines are still at work on ihe wheat, jwid partly from the unwillingness of holders to patt at the current rate 3 offered. From 2s to 2s 2d are the prices obtainable at present. Barley.—Nothing further has been developed with regard to thi3 cereal. A few samples have been on ofler, but no business of any importance has boen transacted. Tho prices are not yet fixed. Grass Seed.—A good few parcels are on offier and business has been transacted at from 3s 0d to 4'b for well cleaned farmers,' parcels; indifferently cleaved according to sample; cocksfoot, 3Jd to 4d per lb. ' Checae »nd Butter.—There is no change tp report in the state of the mirket, and values aro unchanged. The former ia saleable at 4d to 4Ad per lb; the latter, 7d per lb.
