Sir,—l .am desired 'the1 Taieri Agricultural boraetys Committee -to..correct a. misstatement which appeared in a letter- in your columns some fortnight or three weeks ago r : It was to the effect that in the show of salt gutter 'at the , Taieri, Agricultural .Society's bhow, otf the 27th of December "last, lot No 11 was not, opened, and therefore passed over without being judged. ~. ..".;;- This statement is incorrect, as lot 11 wa=> opened. : The kegwas taken from the shelf to the noor for that purpose, and after being judged.(which I; may say was a very easy matter), was, for reasons which Ineednotstate here closed again before being replaced on the shelf.—l am, &c;, ..-■.,.... - ■ ; -
