Melbourne, December 10th. Sailed, this afternoon: Union Company's steamship Alhambra, for the Bluff.
Arrived, this evening: P. andO. Company's steamship Carthage, with the Suez mail, dated London, November 4th.

, The cricket match between the English team and an eleven of New South Wales was continued to-day at Moor Park. The attendance was very large, and great interest was taken in the contest; The Englishmen resumed their first innings, which closed'for 27SJ Barlow being bowled for 75, and Scotton bowled for 25. The play of the visitors was much admired. The New South Wales Eleven went in for their first innings, and when stumps were drawn for the day they had put together IG4 for the loss of three wickets. The fielding of the Englishmen waa very good.
