Sir,- A new railway time-table appears in your j columns to-day, and a moro inconvenient one for , those residing between Dunedin and Palmerston could , not have been framed. It appears that toe latest ] train leaves Dunedin at 4.15. Jn the interests of the t public, allow me to suggest the importance of a later t one-if not a passenger one, at any rate a carriage t attached to the goods train that I understand leaves , about 6 p.m. It will avoid petitions, deputations, lie. , —I am, &c.', ' I - .
