The sito for tho new pavilion, which ia to be a handsome structure 30ft by 12ft, is now cleared, and so also where t'.io fives and tennis courts are to bo located, vVo were given to. understand by the secretary that the latter are to bo of such a nature an to servo for either winter or summer play, and that tenders were already called for most of tlieae. Wo were pleased to observe the canteen haa been abolished. This is a thing we had intended to call attention to had not tho_ Club wisely resolved to discountenance and discontinue it, and we hope for tho sake of the healthful old game and for the interests of tho Club it will never be again started under any Tho following is tho result of Saturday's play, which has been obligingly handed in to us.
