The report of the Managing Committee foi tha last quarter utatod that during that period two new mombc-rs had been enrolled; whilst tho names of eight had been erased, being, unfiaaiiolal, and four had withdrawn upon leaving the service. The total number remaining up in the roll was ther„f<*r.. 259, includin-*; throe honorary mambers. The rti-elpts during the past quarter amounted to LIS7 2s 21, and the expenditure lo L 137 13» ill. A. total balanco was therefore shown to tbe credit of the Society of LU7S 7s. The sum of L43 had been disposed of f^r sick aliment, The Ootnraittce also expres-ed their regret that no aiauy members were in arrears with thoir con tiibutions- Tho auditors' report certified th..----o rrectnesa of the books fur thu quarter oudlng 30th June lait, but called attention to a disputed subscription oi Ll 12 , which did not appear to h;*,ve bton do'olted to Oa,matu by the I.to secretary. Both reports were adopted. Mr Macdonald was elected to fill the vacancy iv tho Committea caused by the appointment of Mr Itogers us mcretiry. This closed the business of the mee'ing.
