The brigantine Florinda is on Isbister's Slip undergbing a thorough overhaul. The three-mas ed schooner Jasper is loading at Dunedin for the Cape. The s.s. Taiaroa left Port Chalmers yesterday tavening for Timaru.

The ship British Sceptre was towed clear of the Heads yesterday afternoon by the s.s. Plucky, and sailed with a full cargo of grain, wool, and other produce for London.

The barque Minnie Allen was shifted from the JJowen Pier and berthed at the Export Wharf yester<lay.

The schooner Jessie Niccol will sail to-morrow for the Chatham Islands, where she will take in 60 tons of Trtiale oil from the barque Splendid (the result of that Tressels recent cruise), and transfer a quantity of casks und stores to her.

The s.s. Rotorua is to leave Port Chalmers this Wternoon for Melbourne, via the Isluff and Hobart.
