Br John Macaffer has been appointed public vaccinator for the district of Gore.
Arthur David Harvey has been appoiuted receiver ol gold revenue and mining registrar, under " The Mines Act, 1877," for Naseby, in the Otago goldflelds, as from the 29th day of January, 1881. Letters of naturalisation have been granted to Anders Hanson, farmer, of West Taieri, and Albert Hill, draper, of St. Bathans.
