Melboubne, April 24th. Mr Thompson Moore, member for Man durang, has accepted the position of Go> vernnient whip in the Assembly,
The prospectus has been issued of a Freezing Company under the dry-air process, wjfch a capital of £100,000. The sum of £40,000 lias already been subscribed, and the Company will commence operations as soon as the subscriptions amount to £50,000. Diphtheria has made its appearance at Sandhurst.
