THIS IS TO NOTIFY, that Thomas Cairns Burt, of Dunedin, Otago, New Zailand, did, on the twenty-f. urlh day of September, deposit at the Office of the Patent Officer, in the Colonial Secretary's Office, in Wellington, a specißcation or instrument in writing under bis hand and seal, particularly describing and ascertaining tne nature of the said Invention, and in what manner the same is to be performeu ; and that by reason of such deposit the said Invention is protected and secured to him exclusively for the term of six calendar months thonce next ensuing.
