CANTERBURY v. RICHMOND CC. (Per Press Association Special Wire.) Christchurch, January 17th. The Canterbury men won the toss and put the Richmond team in, tho consequence being that only two wickets were down ior 85 runs at lunch-time :— Turner, b C Frith 7 Ivory, run out.. .. .. .. 7 Mariion, not out ~ .. ~ 46 Blair, not oat . .. ~ ..15 Extns .. .. .. .. 10 Total S5 (Reuters Special.) Melbourne, January 17th. The Richmond team made 195 in their first innings, and the first four wickets of tbe Canterbury cricketers fell for 111 runs.
