A seveie accident occurred to Mr Williams, second officer of tlie ship Bride of Lome, today. The hands were engaged setting up the mainstay with the steam-winch, when the chain strop of the block parted, and struck Williams on the forehead. The scalp was partially stripped from the skull, and auch severe iujurics inflicted that the sufferer is in a verydangerous condition.
