BROWN, EWING, & CO., In making this announcement, feel justifiedin reminding the pubUc that they do not hold periodical socalled Cheap Sales at manifestly ridiculous .'prices, neither do they allow anything recognised as bad stock to accumu'ate, for by their long experience of the known wants of Otsgo, coupled with a knowledge of the'approximate requirements of a steadily-increas-iDg Trade, they are enabled to transmit te the Manufacturers such Orders that, whilst insuring unlimited variety, will as a rule meet their demands. Thus it is that over FOUR YEA7RS have elapsed since they resolved to announce a General CLEARING SALE throughout the whole of the Departments, and on the present,1 as' on that occasion, the entire Stock will be RE-MARKED at such prices that the public can of themselves without doubt judge of thc advantages that will be offered during the PRESENT MONTH. HOTEL and BOARQINGHOU3E-KEEPER3 will be allowed a D-count of One Shiiing in the Pound off sale prices on parcels of £25 and upwards, and we would suggest that they would do well to make up such orders, although perhaps not in immediate' want of tha articles. • , - .
