Provision yrill be made in the leases of the respective runs for securing to the lo>sees payment by the incoming tenant of compensation for improvements made by the lessees being on the lands at the expiration of the respective leases, as provided by Section 143, " OtaßO Waste Lands Act, 1872;" but the Government or the Waste Lands Board will be in no way liable for sucli compensation. The bidder of the bichest premium rental will be the purchaser. A deposit of one-tenth part of tlie premium rentil and of the assessment rental, calculated on. the minimum stock for the period from the Ist June, IST3, to the Ist of O tobor, 1878, together with the amount of the valuation for improvements, to be paid on the fall of the hammer, and the balances on or before the Ist day of May, 1878.
