As the day was fast clotting In and the weather thick and dftrk,whilßt a great deal of sea was running between the Heads, towing her in was postponed until this morning. The Geelong ipromptly went out and;comtnunicated with the Pomona, out returned empty banded. It was quite dark when she reached the Pier.- ■ ■ The change of wind to B.W. yesterday morning sent several vessels to sea. The schooner Merlin sailed for Waitara, tho brlgantine Kate Brain for Wellington, the cutter Hope for Oamaru, and the schooner Mabel June tot Foxton. The steamer Samson left'for Oamaru at her usual time yesterday morning. The ketch Catlin came down from Dunedin yeaterdiy morning, and anchored off the Port. Discharging th« steamer Easby has progressed apace. She will be ready for sea to-day, and is to sail this evening, If possible, for Ls'ttelton. Thence she goes to Wellington, and so on to Sydney and Newcastle. The barque Dtnbighshire was brought in from thd Stream yesterday, and inoared at the Railway Pier. She will probably break bulk to-day. Touching the Albion Shipping Company's arrangements, we hear from Captain Logan that the Zulieka, from London, is coming here under the Company's Hag, and was to be followed by the Kingdom of Sweden. Next-after the latter is to be the William Davie. From Glasgow the Horsa was to s»il in February, The ship City of Duneuin was to Bail from Glasgow in March for Canterbury, with immimnts. The steamer Express leaves for tho Bluff this evening. The Steamer Colima has been sufficiently lightened, and will be taken into the Graving Dock to-morrow. ! The smart steamer Matau arrived at the Rattray street Wharf last night from Oamaru, with a cargo of grain and a number of passengors. She will sail for Por(; Molyneux to-night. The B.s. Shag sailed last night for Shag Point and Moeraki. .
