Daily Times Office, Tuesday evening. The amount ot Customs Revenue received to-day on .roods entered for consumption was as follows:—

POST OFFICE NOTICE. mails close— This Day, Wednesday, October 20th. For Southland, per Comerang, at 11.20 a.m. British aud other mails, via San Francisco, will close at this Office on 23rd inst. Note —The Post-office at Lovell's Flat has been reopened at the Railway Station. In future an extra mail will be despatched daily to Balclutha, closing at Chief Office at 3 p.m. An extra mail will also be despatched to Lawrence every Tuesday, Thursday, aud Saturday, closing at 3 p.m. ; arriving every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night.
