DnusKKssßss.—Philip Oldham was fined 20s, or in default 4S hours' imprisonment, for being drunk on the Railway Platform. Foul-jioithed.—James Williamson stood charged by the Police with using obscene and profane language on the Kaihvay Pier on the 13th inst The offence was fully proved, and the defendant, a respectable man so far as appearance and address went pleaded that he was drunk at the time and did not know what he was saying. He was fined 10s, with costs 153 Bd.
UIIGACII OF THE RAILWAY BVB-LAWS.—A. C. M'Bride, C. H. Cook, and J. Douglas, were respectively fined 20s, 10s, and ss, with costs, for attempting to enter a railway carriage alter the train was in motion. In passing sentence, His Worship remarked that it was absolutely necessary to make an example of such cases for public safety's sake.
