TyTE?SRS INDER and GEORGE J.VA are hereby instructed to sell by pnblic auction, without reserve, at their auction rooms, Naseby, at 1 p.m. slurp, on Saturday, 9th January, 1875, The following valuable mining properties, consisting of— The Band of Hope Company's well-known head race from the Weddcrburn, branch races, tail races, 2-acre claim, mining, and blacksmith's tools. Also, One substantial dwelling-house, stable, dray and harness, and every requisite for the successful and remunerative working of one of the most valuable and permanent properties ever offered to the public of Otago. The lots are especially framed to suit the requirements of all investors, and are enumerated as follows :— Lot 1. -Water Race from theWedderburn toMount Ida, 7 miles long, being a right to G heads from Wedderburu and intermediate streams. Branch races are cut to command most of the workings at present open at Naseby. 4 dams, with large capacity for the storage of water—the whole property comprising every requisite for the profitable carrying on of a Water Race Company's business, to be sold in eleven shares. lot 2.—Tail race for upper part of Wet Gu'ly, terminating in Main Gullj% Naseby, about two ni'les long. TO BE SOLD, pursuant to an Order of the Supreme Coui-t of New Zealand, Canterbury District, dated the thirtieth day of October, 1574, made in a cause Rhodes v. Rhodes and others, b3> Mr Richard Walton, of Hereford street, Christchurch, the person appointed by the said Court, at his auction rcoras, in Hereford street aforesaid, on Thursday, the fourth day of February, 1875, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, Certain freehold and pastoral property known as the Ahuriri Estate, situate at the Haiswell River, in the Lincoln District, Province of Canterbury, in convenient lots to suit purchasers, and subject to conditions, to be produced at the time of sale. The property comprises 4C73 acres, 3 roods, 14 parches, or thereabouts, of freehold land ; 525 acres of pasturage laud, without right of pre-emption; 1156 , acres, with right thereon, held under and known as Canterbury Association pre-emptive rights; and GO acres, with improvement pre-emptive right over the same, under Canterbury Waste Lauds Regulations, all situate in the Lincoln District of the said Province of Canterbury, together with 1200 mixed sheep aud 500 head of mixed cattle depasturing upon the said Estate.
