Sm—On enquiry at the various shipping ofliccg in town, I find that a return ticket from here to Lyttelton will cost £4 16s. Sureiy there are merchants in Dunedin who can put on a steamer for a month's trip at £3 per head. If not, by all moans hurry on the railway as fast as possible.
