STEAMER FARES TO LYTTELTON.
Sm—On enquiry at the various shipping ofliccg in town, I find that a return ticket from here to Lyttelton will cost £4 16s. Sureiy there are merchants in Dunedin who can put on a steamer for a month's trip at £3 per head. If not, by all moans hurry on the railway as fast as possible. Sijeh charges are unknown in the Southern Hemisphere, New Zealand excepted. The passage occupies come 18 or 20 hours, aud during the night.—l am, &c, A. T.
