The above sheep are all guaranteed pure-bred, being either imported or the progeny of rams aDd ewes imported direct from the mast celebrated breeders in Kent and Suffolk. The superiority of these sheep for quality of wool, size of carcase, and soundness of constitution, has been so fully established at all the Show yards in New Zealand (where they have always gained iiist prizes, and commanded the highest prices given for longvvoolled sheep), further comment as to their character is quite unnecessary. DRIVER, STEWART, and CO. have received instructions from Henry Hill, Esq., to offer for private sale the celebrated stallion, YOUNG PRINCE OF WALES. Young Prince of Wales (lately imported direct from Scotland) is perfectly sound, and in splendid condition ; is 2£ years old, was bred by L. Drew, Esq., of Merrytown, Hamilton, and was selected by well-known judges as the best colt in Scotland. As a yearling he won the first prize at Glasgow, open to all Scotland, and at Hamilton was first in his own class, with an extra medal ior the best horse shown of any age, including the two-year-old oolts that won at Ke so and Glasgow. Young Prince's sire that wonderful and unbeaten horse Prince of Wale ! .which Mr Drew bought from D. Riddell, Esq., of Kilbowie, for £1505, and is now standing in Scotland at £15 15s. The stock from this celebrated sire took 37 first priz last season in all parts of Scotland. Young Prince's dam was also an extraordinary prizetaker, being first r.t the Highland Society, first at G!uigow, first at Hamilton, first at the great open show at Kilbride — thus proving Young Prince of Wales to bo one of the truest bred sires- that ever left Scotland.
