DUNEDIN SHARE REPORT.
Mr Frederick H. Evans reports a sluggish market durin? the p.ist week. For Atbion Coal shares there are buyers at a discount: for Arrow River, no town buyers; Daily Times and Witness, no holder willing to recede from !ast quotations. Duoedin Waterworks can be <.trained it £10 : lastsale, £15 15s. Friendly Societies' H ill, buyers at £1 7s Cd. tforbury Parks, buyers at £28. Greymouth Coal shares at par. Graardwn Printvg Co., spllers at par. Mosgiel Wors'leu Factory Shares, no business to report, but can liv obtained at car. National Bank shares have risen in this market, but the demand is not brisk. National Insurance, 22s to 28s, with an upward tendency. New Zealand Shipping- Co. (sellers), At 7s 6d. South British Insurance Co. shares, in consequence of Directors' report and intended call, did not look so well, and buyers were shy, but they are Steadier, and v/ere placed at £2 to-day. Shotover shares are again being- enquired for, without resulting- in business. A Brokers' Association is now in course of formation, and the next report will doubtless emanate from that body.
