Wellington, November 24th. The journeymen painters have intimated to the employers that they intend to strike after the Bth of next month, unless they are allowed 12s per day. A number of carpenters have struck to-day for 12s. The movement is likely to become general. - The following are the names of the Wellington team selected to play the Auckland cricketers :—J.
