Napier, March 30th. The Luna arrived yesterday afternoon. The Volunteer Representatives were received at Port and escorted to town by cavalry, artillery, and volunteer rifles, accompanied by their bands. The representatives were entertained in the evening at the Oddfellows' Hall. The Luna started again this morning. It is reported that by a north-east gale at Auckland on Saturday, LSOOO of damage was done to shipping. Nelson, March 30th. A lode of galena five feet thick has been found running parallel with the Perseverance reef. It gives 80 per cent, of lead, Two men were seriously injured in the Canterbury claim, Collingwood, by an explosion of powder.
