January 17th.' Arrived.—Alliambra, a.8., from Lyttelton, 2.30 p.m. ; Wanganui, s.s., from Wanganui. Sailed.—Estreßa, barque, for London. ' Auckland, January 14tb, via T^TTKANaA, January 17th. Arrived.—Saucy Lass, from Lyttelton; Fiery Cross, from Oamaru. ;

The Galatea sails on the 16th.

- The ketch'Ezcelsior arrived from Hoki4ika yesterday morning, and passed the Port on her course towards Dunedin.

The s.s. Taranaki arrived from the North at 830 a.m. yesterday. She left Auckland wharf at 1 p. m. on the 11th inst. ; passed ihe East Cape at noon on the following" day, and arrived off Napier at 6 a.m. on the J3bh; Bailed at 4 p m., and reached Wellington at 2 p.m., on the 14th; sailed again at midnight, and arrived at Lyttelton at 6 p. m. on the 15th: left there at noon next day, and had fine weather; to; arrival. Mr Moss, her purser, with his,usual kindness, supplied us with our regular files. :

The p. s. Wallace sailed in the forenoon for Oamaru. ;
