Wednesday, 7th September. (Before His Worship the Mayor, and W. H. Reynolds, Esq., J.P.)

Drunkenness and Disorderly Condtjct. —Samuel Carey, who had behaved in a rather obstreperous manner, was fined 40s, or in default to be imprisoned for 48 hours. Bye Laws. — North and Scoular, summoned for obstructing the footpath, were fined 2s 6d and costs. F. W. Keichelt, for obstructing the roadway by placing two cases thereon ; Henry Scott, for breaking in a horse in Princes and Rittray streets ; and Francis Meenan, for leaving straw in George street—were each fine1! 5s and costs.
